About Battersea
Where is Battersea?
Battersea is in South West London, situated on the south side of the River Thames opposite Chelsea and between Vauxhall and Wandsworth.

Communications
Chelsea's Kings Road with its world famous shopping and nightlife is within 10 minutes walk over either of the bridges that serve Battersea.
There is no tube station directly serving Battersea. However, the bus links from Battersea Bridge are impeccable, with direct services reaching Sloane Square, South Kensington or Victoria and the West End..
Clapham Junction main line railway station is also within easy walking distance and has extensive rail links both out of London (Gatwick Airport and the South), and into the city (Waterloo - 10 minutes).

A riverside location, one of London's largest parks with excellent sporting and recreational facilities, and plentiful shops, restaurants and bars. This vibrant area will soon be home to Royal College of Art campus which is moving from Kensington to join the existing Sculpture School campus.
